More than halfway to our new home. We got into the hotel last night around 10:30 - not ideal, but seriously there was NO WHERE else to stay on the 90 from Buffalo to here. Seriously, NY let's get some decent hotels up on the 90 please. I could have done with one around Syracuse last night.
Everyone is hanging in there thus far - though naturally Miss E spiked a fever last night and DH was out looking for Tylenol at 4 am. (No - I didn't pack any in the "hotel baggage" - I figured we could make it 36 hours without someone getting sick. I know, I know... and I've been doing this mom thing for nearly six years now.)
Heading out in in less than an hour for the last bit of our drive to our new home. Feeling a bit better about this. Leaving the house was so sad yesterday... but I didn't start crying until our babysitter K gave the girls a special photo album she had put together. Took leave of bff and her family Wednesday night -cried buckets. But the hardest thing was hugging my mom goodbye. She's flying up to see us in less than three weeks, but still feel awful leaving her behind.

We moved in November and my kids are still moaning and groaning about losing their friends. I hear it takes a year until they feel settled. Fun times ahead!
I'm sure you will be excited once you arrive at your new home! We had such a great time in Vermont last week. It's so beautiful there and the people are so nice!
Hopefully the rest of your journey goes smoothly. Keep us updated on how it goes once you arrive at your new digs!
Too much to do once you arrive, there won't be time to pine.
A new adventure! So exciting!
Don't feel bad about the Tylenol thing....I know I've not packed it thinking there was no way we would need it, and then...well, you know.
I never pack children's medicines on a short trip. So sorry your little one got sick. Hope the rest of the adventure goes well!
Good luck - we have done this so many times but we didn't have any children to consider so we had it much easier.
We hope it is going well and things are going as planner... or maybe even better than planned!

You're going to be fine. Everyone can come visit! Hang in there!
Have safe travels!
Are you still running? I am in process of switching my running blogroll over to the new bloglist- leave me a comment and let me know if you still want to be on there.
If not, I could put you on my regular blogroll.
You know the rule...if you pack it, you won't need it. If you don't pack it, you will! (That's how I justify my chronic overpacking, anyway!;)
Safe travels!
